My Makeup Findings in LA

Léelo en español

Happy Tuesday! I’m very excited because this week we’ll have the premiere of Avengers: Endgame and a very excited episode of Game of Thrones (no more comments about it to about spoilers!). Anyway, while we wait for all those releases, I want to talk to you about the makeup items I bought in Los Angeles.

I bought these makeup items based on what I needed at the moment. I’m not very impulsive when it comes to buying makeup, so I did some research and I went to buy some things.

Liner Vinyl from Givenchy

The first item I bought is an eyeliner from Givenchy. It’s the second time I buy this eyeliner and I’m very happy with it. I used to wear the Dior eyeliner because it’s very good as well, but I personally think that this one works better for me because the brush tip is a bit harder than the Dior eyeliner and it helps me to be more precise. So if you’re a fan of the cat eye finish, this eyeliner is for you. One more thing, it doesn’t smudge, but it’s not hard to take off.

I bought it in Sephora, but if you’re in Lima, you can find it in deparment stores or Perfumerías Unidas stores.

Marc Jacobs Mascara

I am very excited about this mascara because I heard really good comments about it. I used to had problems to curl my lashes because I had never found a mascara good enough to maintain them curled. So, when I got to LA, I looked for the miraculous mascara of Marc Jacobs and I’m not disappointed. After I applied it, I noticed that it would not form lumps and my lashes looked really good. If you have the chance to get it, don’t hesitate to buy it.

I specially went to Sephora to buy it because I cannot get it in Peru, but it was worth it.

Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-In-Stick from Yves Saint Laurent

This is also the first time I’m trying this lipstick by Yves Saint Laurent. I was actually going to buy a Dior lipstick because I have one and I really like its hydrating effect, but I tried it at the store and I liked the texture and the colours. I’ve been wearing this for some weeks now and even though I like it and it’s also hydrating, it comes off too easily if you’re eating or drinking something. However, it’s a good product if your lips tend to dry easily with regular lipsticks.

I also bought this one at Sephora, but I also saw this brand at Nordstrom. Since we don’t have this brand in Peru, it was a good opportunity to buy it.

CC Oil-Free Cushion Foundation from The Face Shop

Last but not least, I bought this cushion foundation from The Face Shop. I’m a big believer in Korean beauty products and I consider that Korean foundations are among the best. For that reason, I didn’t hesitate to go to Koreatown and look for a new foundation. The last foundations I wore were from Dior and Missha and I was actually hoping to buy a new one from any of those brands, but I didn’t find them. I’ve been wearing this foundation since I bought it and I’m very pleased. The effect is oil free and you don’t need to apply a lot of the product to get an even result. The foundation even comes with a refill!

I bought this foundation in Palace Beauty, a store located in Koreatown Galleria. You can find these cushion foundations in Lima in Dream Supply.

I hope you liked this post and wait for it because I still have more things to show you from my visit to California. If you want to know more about me, you can follow me on Instagram because I post pics daily. ❤️
