Hi everyone! I felt like it’s been a while since I wrote my last post. Sorry for disappearing these weeks! As I briefly told you in my last post, I was really busy with my office work. I had to cover a colleague, and September passed in a flash. Also, we realised that my kitty, Ming, needed a friend to play, so we adopted a new kitten. His name is Haru and he was only 4 weeks old when he came home, so he needed a lot of care from all of us. Luckily, things finally calmed down a bit and everything is going back to normal.
I know that we’re a little bit past fashion month, but I didn’t want to miss the chance to show my 3 favourite shows and trends from Milan Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2020. So here they are!
Versace
Honoring the 20th year of the iconic Jungle dress, Versace reinvents it and makes it the key part of its show. The palette includes vivid colours like green, orange and pink with shiny accents. My favourite part of the show were the tailored black dresses.
Etro
Another of my favourites for this season is Etro. The collection theme was boho chic with sophisticated designs for a city girl. The house used light fabrics with prints combined with detail-rich knits. My favourite pieces were the velvet dresses with beautiful motifs.
Dolce & Gabbana
On this occasion, Stefano and Domenico presented the Sicilian Jungle with 124 looks full of prints, raffia and foliage motifs. My favourite designs were the khaki safari pieces and the vaporous dresses. Although the house black dresses need a special mention because they’re always sexy, yet stylish.
I hope you liked my picks from MFW and hope they serve you as inspiration for this season. I personally liked the idea of wearing pencil skirts for everyday outfits, all the khaki safari inspired pieces, and adding some boho chic style to my wardrobe.
